This is the final Magazine cover finished.

We chose, Ei because we thaught she was very photogenic, and suited the theme of our magazine very well. We made her look up and not straight at the camera beause it showed of her eyes off more than if we took the picture straight on. i think our photo was very effective and looks good on our magazine front cover.

As a introduction to the course we were asked to design and create a magazine front cover and a contents page. We were told that we needed to work in pairs of our choice: i chose Leonie Holder. We decided that we wanted a girl in our year to feature on our front cover. We took a range of photos at a range of different angles till we found one which we thaught was suitable for our magazine front cover.The brief stated that it had to be a mid-shot, and that is the one that we prefered. The brief also stated that it had to be suitable for a school audience, so we chose to create a magazine which was aimed at the students which are interested in performing arts. Our magazine is called "spotlight"! We included three peices of text one of which linked to our feature front cover. Eli wardle' i love streetdance its a seacret passion of mine'.

As part of our piliminary exercise, we had to create a short film, including 15-18 differnt camera angles in the footage. Then we had to include short reverse shot, and some diologue between two people. I worked in a group with Hannah, Jack, Olivia, Vicky and Lauren. i belived we worked well as a group all the way through the ideas prosess the filming and the editing. We drew a story board of what we wanted out film to be like. We chose the film to be baced in the libary anf the conversation to be between Jack the person walking and Olivia our librarian. We used 18 differnt shots in our film which was the maxim we were aloud. After all the filming was done we uploaded iot onto the mac's and edited our clips on there to make it smooth and free flowing. If we had to do this again we would make sure that we would use the camera stand so our shots wernt so wobbley and the camera we used was more focused.
